The
SpaExcellenceSM Certification Process
Level
of Excellence 3
The Complete Quality Management System is
in Place and The System is Documented and
Stable
Within a year
of achieving Level 2, the Spa completes its
Action Plan to close the Gaps identified in
the second Feedback Report. All sections of
The International Standards of SpaExcellenceSM
are in place. A document control system is
in place and data is collected. The Spa submits
an application and fee for Level 3 of the
SpaExcellenceSM program. SpaQuality LLC provides
an on-site SpaExcellenceSM Level 3 training
course immediately followed by a full assessment
of The International Standards of SpaExcellenceSM
performed by a Certified SpaQuality Assessor.
SpaQuality provides a written feedback report
that identifies the gaps between the Spas
practices and the requirements of The Standards.
The Spa creates an Action Plan to close the
gaps and submits it to SpaQuality. SpaQuality
approves the Action Plan and recognizes the
Spa with a Q-3 Certificate, Crystal Award
and provides a marketing kit. An anonymous
Guest Assessment will take place within 12
months of attaining Level 3. It is expected
that the Spa will achieve Level 4 within one
year of attaining Level 3.
